He added that the series is a tribute to their creative brilliance and the lasting impact they’ve had on Indian cinema.

Zoya Akhtar described the series as a tribute to the dynamic journey of Salim-Javed. “It’s about how they transitioned from small towns to the silver screen, channeling their hardships and swag into their cinema,” she explained.

Angry Young Men is poised to offer a rich and insightful look into the lives of two of Bollywood’s most influential screenwriters, celebrating their contributions to the film industry and their enduring legacy.
