Bobby Deol Overwhelmed as 'Animal' Crosses ₹100 Crore Mark; Emotional Amidst Paparazzi Praise

Actor Bobby Deol, featuring in the star-studded ensemble of the film ‘Animal,’ was visibly emotional as he acknowledged the overwhelming response garnered by the movie. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, and Rashmika Mandanna, ‘Animal’ hit screens on Friday, swiftly crossing the ₹100 crore milestone within just two days of its release.

During a public appearance in Mumbai, Bobby Deol, clad in a grey hoodie and matching pants, expressed gratitude to the paparazzi for their congratulatory words. He emotionally remarked, “Thank you so much. God has been really kind. Itna pyaar mil raha hai iss film ke liye lagta hai ki sapna dekh raha hu (The love our film is getting feels like a dream).”

A video capturing the heartfelt moment shows Bobby visibly moved, being comforted by his team as tears welled up in his eyes. Wiping away tears with a tissue paper, the actor appeared overwhelmed before departing in his car.

Fans flooded the comments section, expressing joy and support for Bobby Deol’s performance and the success of the Deol family. One user commented, “Success tears. He deserves it. His entry gave shivers in the spine.” Another user celebrated the achievements of the Deol family, stating, “This year is the best year of the Deol family.”

In ‘Animal,’ Bobby Deol portrays the antagonist in a narrative that clashes with Ranbir Kapoor’s character, while Anil Kapoor portrays Ranbir’s father, and Rashmika Mandanna plays his girlfriend, later turned wife.

The film’s impressive performance at the box office showcased its massive appeal. Sacnilk.com reported a staggering ₹63.8 crore collection across all languages on its release day, swiftly crossing the ₹100 crore benchmark on the second day itself. ‘Animal’ finds itself in a box office battle against Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Sam Bahadur’ and Salman Khan’s ‘Tiger 3.’

The Hindustan Times review described ‘Animal’ as an intense and unabashedly violent thriller, cautioning viewers about its graphic content while acknowledging its mass entertainment value.
