The message from the organisers read:
“IMPORTANT UPDATE. In light of the recent and tragic events, the organisers, along with the artist, have collectively made the decision to cancel the upcoming show scheduled to happen in Chennai this Sunday, April 27th. All ticket holders will receive full refunds, and the amount will be automatically refunded back to your original mode of payment. Thank you for your understanding.”
While there has been no confirmation yet on whether the concert will be rescheduled in Chennai, fans have largely responded with understanding and support in the face of the national tragedy.
Music Industry Responds
Popular composer Anirudh Ravichander also responded to the incident by postponing the ticket sales for the Bengaluru leg of his HUKUM World Tour. Originally set to go on sale on April 24, the new ticketing date will be announced at a later time.
