Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, known for his patriotic roles and vocal stance on national issues, expressed deep anger over the recent Pahalgam terror attack during a special screening of his latest film, Kesari Chapter 2. The actor addressed the audience with an emotionally charged message, referencing the pain and outrage the country is currently experiencing.

“Woh Gussa Phir Se Jaga Hai”: Akshay Speaks to Fans

Akshay Kumar was joined by co-star R. Madhavan at a theatre on Saturday, where they met fans following the screening of Kesari Chapter 2. In a video captured by attendees and now going viral on social media, Akshay addressed the crowd by drawing parallels between the emotions evoked by the film and the real-world tragedy that had just unfolded.

“Unfortunately, aaj bhi humare sab ke dil mein woh gussa phir se jaga hai. Aap sab log achchi tarah se jaante hain main kis cheez ki baat kar raha hoon,” Akshay said, referring to the Pahalgam terror attack. He continued, “Aaj bhi hum un terrorists ko ek hi baat kehna chahenge, jo maine iss film mein kahi hai, kya?”

In a powerful and coordinated moment, the audience shouted back the film’s iconic dialogue: “F* you.”**

The moment captured both the raw anger and unity felt by the public in the wake of the attack.

Previous Statement on X

Earlier, Akshay had condemned the attack in a strongly worded post on X (formerly Twitter):
“Horrified to know of the terror attack on tourists in Pahalgam. Sheer evil to kill innocent people like this. Prayers for their families.”

About the Pahalgam Terror Attack

The terror attack occurred on Tuesday afternoon near Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district. According to reports, terrorists opened fire on a group of tourists around 3 PM in the Baisaran valley area. The attack claimed at least 26 lives, mostly civilians, and left 20 others injured. The incident has sparked outrage across the country.

Kesari Chapter 2 and Its Relevance

Kesari Chapter 2 is inspired by the book The Case That Shook the Empire by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palat. The film tells the story of lawyer C. Sankaran Nair and his legal battle against the British Raj to uncover the truth behind the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre. Akshay portrays Nair, a real-life figure who challenged colonial authority during one of India’s darkest historical moments.

Given its strong themes of justice, resistance, and national pride, the film’s message resonated even more deeply in light of the recent events.
