Produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar, and Lokesh Dhar, “Article 370” delves into themes of terrorism and corruption prevalent in Jammu and Kashmir. Yami Gautam portrays the role of an intelligence officer tasked with combating these issues, as depicted in the gripping trailer which showcased the turmoil in the region and the government’s resolve to eliminate Article 370 at any cost.

Backed by Jio Studios and Aditya Dhar’s banner B62 Studios, “Article 370” is described as being “inspired by true events that shaped the fate of Kashmir.”

The film’s release comes against the backdrop of significant political changes, particularly the revocation of Article 370 by the Central government on August 5, 2019, which redefined the status of Jammu and Kashmir, leading to its bifurcation into union territories.

The strategic expansion of screening locations during the weekend aims to maximize audience reach and capitalize on the growing interest in the film.
