Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya Lead India’s First Airstrike in ‘Sky Force’ Trailer

The much-anticipated trailer of Sky Force, starring Akshay Kumar and debutant Veer Pahariya, was unveiled on Sunday by Maddock Films, offering a gripping glimpse into the country’s first and deadliest airstrike. Directed by Sandeep Kelwani and Abhishek Kapur, the film promises to be a cinematic tribute to bravery and patriotism, hitting theatres on January 24, 2025.

The over-three-minute trailer introduces Akshay Kumar as an Indian Air Force (IAF) officer determined to avenge the deaths of Indian soldiers through a bold airstrike. In one of the film’s defining moments, Akshay’s character confronts his seniors, challenging their hesitation to act. He delivers the impactful line, “Doosra gaal neta dikhate hai, hum fauji nahi,” highlighting the military’s resolve to defend the nation.

Veer Pahariya’s Debut
The trailer also marks the debut of Veer Pahariya, who portrays another courageous IAF officer. Veer and Akshay team up for the mission, but tragedy strikes as Veer’s aircraft is hit, leaving him “missing in action.” Sara Ali Khan plays Veer’s wife, portraying a poignant narrative of waiting and hope. Nimrat Kaur also makes an appearance in a pivotal role.
