In an exciting announcement made on World Radio Day, Prime Video India revealed that their original film, “Ae Watan Mere Watan,” starring Sara Ali Khan, is scheduled to premiere on March 21. Produced by renowned filmmaker Karan Johar, the movie is set to captivate audiences with its tale of courage, sacrifice, and the spirit of patriotism.

Sara Ali Khan, who plays the lead character Usha, took to Instagram to share the news with her followers. In her post, she expressed her excitement, saying, “Desh ki kahaani, Usha ki zubaani World Radio Day par! #AeWatanMereWatanOnPrime, Mar 21 only on @primevideoin.” The announcement was accompanied by an audio clip of Sara, narrating a message of hope for an Independent India, echoing the theme of the film.

“Ae Watan Mere Watan” is a fictional narrative inspired by the real-life story of Usha Mehta, a brave freedom fighter who operated an underground radio station during the British Raj. The film pays tribute to the unsung heroes of India’s freedom struggle and sheds light on the pivotal role played by radio in uniting the nation.

Directed by Kannan Iyer and written by Darab Farooqui and Iyer, the historical thriller promises to offer a gripping cinematic experience. It will be available for streaming in Hindi, with dubbed versions in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam, ensuring a wider reach and accessibility for audiences across India.
