In an exciting announcement made on World Radio Day, Prime Video India revealed that their original film, “Ae Watan Mere Watan,” starring Sara Ali Khan, is scheduled to premiere on March 21. Sara Ali Khan, who plays the lead character Usha, took to Instagram to share the news with her followers. “Ae Watan Mere Watan” is a fictional narrative inspired by the real-life story of Usha Mehta, a brave freedom fighter who operated an underground radio station during the British Raj. The film pays tribute to the unsung heroes of India’s freedom struggle and sheds light on the pivotal role played by radio in uniting the nation.
Directed by Kannan Iyer and written by Darab Farooqui and Iyer, the historical thriller promises to offer a gripping cinematic experience.
