Salman Khan, one of Bollywood’s biggest stars, has taken additional steps to ensure his safety following fresh death threats reportedly from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The actor has been on the gang’s radar for some time, and the recent murder of his close friend, political leader Baba Siddique, has escalated the threats against him. In light of the increasing danger, Salman Khan is not taking any chances and has intensified his security measures.
New Bulletproof SUV Imported from Dubai
According to reports from Bollywood Society, Salman Khan has purchased a bulletproof Nissan Patrol SUV, which is being imported from Dubai as it is not available in India. The vehicle comes with a hefty price tag of approximately ₹2 crore, and the actor is sparing no expense to expedite its arrival. The Nissan Patrol is known for its advanced safety features, including thick glass shields to prevent bullet penetration, explosive alert indicators, and a camouflage design to avoid detection.
This isn’t the first time Salman has invested in such protection. Last year, he imported another bulletproof car from the UAE after receiving his first death threat from the same gang, which had also threatened his father, veteran screenwriter Salim Khan.
Threats Intensify After Baba Siddique’s Murder
Salman Khan returned to work on the sets of Bigg Boss 18 last Friday under heavy security. This marked his first public appearance since the murder of his close friend Baba Siddique. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed responsibility for Siddique’s murder, though the police investigation is still ongoing.
Adding to the actor’s concerns, Mumbai Police received a fresh threat message via WhatsApp on Friday, warning Salman Khan to pay ₹5 crore to avoid a fate “worse than Baba Siddique.” The message urged the actor not to take the threat lightly, and it is currently being investigated by the police.
Stringent Security Measures
In response to the ongoing threats, Salman Khan’s security has been significantly enhanced. Tight protocols have been put in place on the sets of Bigg Boss 18, and the actor is reportedly following strict safety measures in his daily routine.
Salman Khan has been dealing with threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang for several months, and the recent developments only underscore the seriousness of the situation. The Bollywood star continues to take proactive measures to safeguard himself as investigations continue.
