Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, who recently returned home after being treated for multiple stab wounds following a knife attack, has become the subject of online speculation over his speedy recovery. The actor’s sister, Saba Pataudi, took to Instagram to address the doubts circulating on social media, firmly standing by the medical professionals’ statements.
Saif, who was rushed to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital after the attack, made a quick recovery and was discharged five days later. However, some netizens have questioned how the actor could recover so swiftly from such severe injuries. Saba Pataudi shared a post referencing Cardiologist Dr. Deepak Krishnamurthy’s clarification, where he dismissed the skepticism.
In the post, Dr. Krishnamurthy cited examples of patients recovering quickly after major surgeries. He shared a video of his 78-year-old mother walking post-spine surgery and explained, “People who’ve had cardiac bypass surgeries climb stairs on the 3rd or 4th day. Educate yourselves.” Saba urged people to read the caption and rely on facts instead of spreading misinformation.
The incident occurred when Saif Ali Khan was stabbed multiple times and had to be rushed to the hospital in an auto rickshaw driven by Bhajan Singh Rana, who was unaware of the actor’s identity at the time. After being discharged, Saif took time to meet and thank Rana for his help.
In a statement to IANS, Rana shared details about meeting Saif and his family, recalling how worried they were during the ordeal. “His family treated me with respect. His mother and children were there. Everything went well,” Rana said.
Speaking to Instant Bollywood, Rana mentioned he would happily accept a new auto rickshaw from Saif if the actor wished to gift him one, though he emphasized that his actions came from a place of humanity.
Saif Ali Khan’s recovery journey has been a topic of discussion, but his family and medical professionals have been steadfast in defending the authenticity of his progress. With his health now stable, fans are relieved to see the actor back home, recuperating with loved ones.
