Ravi Teja's "Eagle" Roars at the Box Office, Raking in ₹6.2 Crore on Day One in India, Nearly Doubling Worldwide

In a promising start for the much-anticipated action flick “Eagle,” starring Ravi Teja and Kavya Thapar, the film soared to a noteworthy ₹6.2 crore in India on its opening day, as reported by Sacnilk.com. Directed by Karthik Gattamneni, the film hit theaters with considerable buzz on February 9, receiving a warm welcome from audiences across the nation.

“Eagle,” touted as a potential blockbuster, made an impressive mark not only domestically but also globally, amassing a staggering ₹11.9 crore worldwide on its inaugural day. Trade analyst Ramesh Bala took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to announce the film’s stellar performance, predicting a promising weekend ahead. Ramesh exclaimed, “The blasting blockbuster is off to a flying start. Eagle grosses ₹11.9 crore worldwide on day 1, and begins the second day on a ‘great note’ all over.”

Breaking down the box office numbers, the film grossed ₹6.1 crore in Telugu markets and an additional ₹10 lakh in the Hindi belt. This impressive feat signifies the mass appeal of Ravi Teja, affectionately known as “Mass Maharaja,” particularly among South Indian cinema enthusiasts.

“Eagle,” not only captivates with its action-packed sequences but also boasts a stellar ensemble cast including Anupama Parameshwaran, Srinivas Avasarala, Vinay Rai, Navdeep, Madhubala, Praneeta Pattnaik, Ajay Ghosh, and Srinivas Reddy. The film, written and edited by Karthik Gattamneni, is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Vivek Kuchibhotla under the People Media Factory banner. The music, composed by Davzand, adds further allure to the cinematic experience.

However, despite the film’s overall positive reception, some audience members expressed mixed reactions. While many lauded Ravi Teja’s powerful screen presence and the film’s high-octane action sequences, others criticized the excessive focus on elevating the protagonist’s character in the first half. Nevertheless, “Eagle” promises to keep audiences on the edge of their seats with its gripping storyline and adrenaline-pumping moments.

As the weekend unfolds, all eyes are on “Eagle” as it continues to dominate the box office and captivate audiences with its exhilarating narrative and stellar performances.
