Mahesh Babu's Team Issues Warning About Daughter Sitara's Fake Instagram Account; Investigation Underway

In a recent turn of events, the family of renowned Telugu actor Mahesh Babu has issued a warning regarding a cybercrime incident involving their daughter, Sitara Ghattamaneni. Sitara, the daughter of Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar, has reportedly become a victim of impersonation on the popular social media platform, Instagram.

According to an official statement released by Mahesh Babu’s team on Instagram, an unidentified individual has created a fake Instagram account posing as Sitara Ghattamaneni. This impersonator has been deceitfully engaging with unsuspecting users, sending them trading and investment links under Sitara’s name. The statement further reveals that the Madhapur police, in collaboration with Team GMB, are actively investigating the matter to identify and apprehend the perpetrator behind this fraudulent activity.

Namrata Shirodkar, Sitara’s mother, took to her own Instagram account to echo the warning shared by Mahesh Babu’s team. She reposted the statement, emphasizing that Sitara’s only authentic Instagram account is the verified one. This serves as a cautionary measure to prevent individuals from falling victim to the scam orchestrated by the impersonator.

Sitara Ghattamaneni, who boasts a significant following of over 1.8 million on Instagram, is known for her engaging content, including candid videos and posts. Recently, she garnered attention for a video where she danced to the title track of Mahesh Babu’s latest release, “Guntur Kaaram.” The heartwarming gesture was shared jointly with her father, Mahesh Babu, on Instagram, receiving praise from her parents and fans alike.

In light of this incident, the public is urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity related to Sitara Ghattamaneni’s online presence. Efforts are underway to ensure the safety and security of Sitara’s digital identity, with authorities working diligently to prevent such occurrences in the future.

As the investigation progresses, the family of Mahesh Babu remains committed to safeguarding Sitara’s online reputation and ensuring a secure online environment for their daughter and her followers. The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of cybersecurity awareness and the need for stringent measures to combat cybercrime in today’s digital age.
