"Ranbir Kapoor's 'Animal' Roars, Surpasses ₹100 Crore Mark in Just Two Days!"

Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna starrer “Animal” has taken the box office by storm, catapulting itself into the prestigious ₹100 crore club within just two days of its release. Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s directorial venture has set the cash registers ringing, amassing a whopping ₹131.07 crore in total collections.

According to Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh, “Animal” amassed ₹67.27 crore on its second day, outstripping its opening day earnings of ₹63.80 crore. The film’s remarkable performance, garnering ₹58.37 crore from the Hindi version and ₹8.90 crore from South Indian languages on day two, solidified its box office dominance.

Taran Adarsh expressed awe at the movie’s exceptional reception, stating, “‘ANIMAL’ IS A BOXOFFICE MONSTER…#Animal goes WILD on Day 2 [Sat]… Metros, non-metros, mass pockets – the response is OUTSTANDING, takes the 2-day total to over ₹100 cr…”

The film boasts a star-studded ensemble including Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Tripti Dimri, and Shakti Kapoor in pivotal roles, contributing to its widespread appeal.

However, amidst its commercial success, film critic Saibal Chatterjee’s review for NDTV was less enthusiastic, awarding “Animal” a modest 1.5 stars. Chatterjee critiqued the film’s portrayal of male protagonists coping with physical impairments, highlighting its underlying narrative choices that revolve around a vengeful conflict.

“Animal” also clashed with “Sam Bahadur,” starring Vicky Kaushal, at the box office, marking a competitive landscape for moviegoers.

The film, marked by its stellar cast and intense storyline, continues to attract audiences across various demographics, showcasing a powerful box office presence and solidifying its position as a significant cinematic offering in recent times.
