Rajinikanth Shines in Vettaiyan’s First Song "Manasilaayo": A Glitzy Return to the Dance Floor

The first single from Rajinikanth’s eagerly awaited film Vettaiyan has been released, and it’s already making waves. Titled “Manasilaayo,” this vibrant track promises to be a crowd-puller, reminiscent of the blockbuster “Chumma Kizhi” from Darbar. The song features Rajinikanth in his element, dominating the dance floor with his signature charisma.

Celebratory and Nostalgic

“Manasilaayo” is more than just a dance number; it is a grand tribute to Rajinikanth’s character in Vettaiyan. The song marks a significant moment in the film, celebrating the character’s impending ascent to power. The title of the track pays homage to a famous line from Vinayakan in Rajinikanth’s previous film, Jailer.

The track includes a unique touch with the voice of the late singer Malaysia Vasudevan being recreated using AI technology. Vocals for the song are provided by Yugendran Vasudevan, Anirudh Ravichander, and Deepthi Suresh, while the lyrics are penned by Super Subu and Vishnu Edavan.

A Star-Studded Reunion

Directed by TJ Gnanavel, Vettaiyan boasts a stellar ensemble cast, featuring Amitabh Bachchan in his Tamil film debut. This film marks a momentous reunion between Bachchan and Rajinikanth, who last collaborated 33 years ago. The film also stars Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, and VJ Rakshan.

The film’s production team includes cinematographer SR Kathir and editor Philomin Raj, with music by Anirudh Ravichander. This marks Ravichander’s fourth collaboration with Rajinikanth, following successful projects like Petta (2019), Darbar (2020), and Jailer (2023).

Anticipation Builds

With the release of “Manasilaayo,” excitement around Vettaiyan is at an all-time high. The song not only highlights Rajinikanth’s enduring appeal but also sets the stage for what promises to be a memorable film experience. The cast and crew have recently completed dubbing, and fans are eagerly awaiting the film’s release.

Vettaiyan is shaping up to be a major event in Indian cinema, with Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan’s reunion being one of the most anticipated moments. As the film continues to generate buzz, “Manasilaayo” is just the beginning of what promises to be a spectacular cinematic journey.
