The Rule has received a U/A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), confirming its readiness for release. The sequel to the 2021 Telugu blockbuster Pushpa: The Rise is set to hit the big screens on December 5, thrilling fans across the globe.
The announcement was made by production banner Mythri Movie Makers through an Instagram post on Thursday evening. Sharing the exciting update, the studio wrote, “Pushpa’s Rule The biggest Indian film is certified with U/A and is all set to give you a WILDFIRE big screen experience. #Pushpa2TheRule.”
Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2: The Rule will see Allu Arjun reprising his role as Pushpa Raj, a labourer who rises to power in the dangerous world of sandalwood smuggling. The film also brings back Rashmika Mandanna as Srivalli and Fahadh Faasil as SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, adding to the anticipation among fans.
The sequel’s trailer, which was unveiled on November 17 at a packed Gandhi Maidan in Patna, has already created a massive buzz. The gripping visuals and intense storyline hinted at a high-octane cinematic experience.
The film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers in association with Sukumar Writings, with music composed by Devi Sri Prasad under the T-Series label. As the release date approaches, excitement continues to build for what is being touted as one of the biggest Indian films of the year.
