According to a Sacnilk report, “Maidaan” collected ₹1.65 crore on its seventh day, bringing its total earnings to ₹25.26 crore, including special previews and collections from day 8. This success highlights the film’s strong appeal among audiences.

“Maidaan” narrates the inspiring story of Syed Abdul Rahim, the coach and manager of the Indian football team from 1950 to 1963. Under his leadership, the team achieved remarkable feats such as winning gold medals in the Asian Games and reaching the semi-finals of the 1956 Olympics.
