Firing at Salman Khan’s House: Accused Wanted to Scare, Not Kill, Says Report

In a startling incident, two bike-borne assailants fired multiple rounds outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s residence, Galaxy Apartments, located in Mumbai’s Bandra area on early Sunday morning. The Mumbai Crime Branch has revealed that the attackers had no intention to murder Khan but aimed to scare him.

The Mumbai Crime Branch officials disclosed that the accused had conducted a reconnaissance of Salman Khan’s farmhouse in Panvel, indicating a premeditated plan. The gunmen, identified as Sagar Pal (21) and Vicky Gupta (24) from Bihar’s West Champaran district, carried out the attack and fled the scene on a motorcycle, concealing their identities under helmets.

Following swift action, the Mumbai Police apprehended the two shooters in a village in Gujarat’s Kutch district on Monday night. The incident has been classified as a “meticulously planned attack,” with CCTV footage capturing one of the suspects firing towards Khan’s residence.

Shortly after the firing, gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother, Anmol Bishnoi, claimed responsibility through a social media post, warning Khan that it was just the “trailer” of further actions.

In response to the incident, Salman Khan expressed concern about his family’s security and questioned the effectiveness of the security measures provided by Mumbai Police. Despite being under Y-Plus security since November 2022 due to threats from gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar, Khan felt vulnerable.

The Mumbai Crime Branch intends to record Salman Khan’s statement as a witness in the case. Khan’s statement is crucial for understanding the circumstances surrounding the attack and ensuring appropriate legal actions.

The firing incident outside Salman Khan’s house has raised serious concerns about celebrity security and the brazenness of criminal activities. The Mumbai Police’s ongoing investigation aims to uncover the full extent of the plot and bring the culprits to justice.
