Jasmin Bhasin Reveals Cornea Damage from Contact Lenses: Struggling with Pain and Vision Issues

Television actor Jasmin Bhasin has recently opened up about a painful incident involving her eyes, revealing that she suffered corneal damage after wearing contact lenses for an event in Delhi. In an interview with ETimes, Bhasin described the intense discomfort and vision problems she has been experiencing.

The incident occurred on July 17 during a high-profile event in Delhi, where Bhasin was preparing to make an appearance. She recounted, “I don’t know what was wrong with my lenses, but after I wore them, my eyes started hurting, and the pain gradually got worse.” Despite the growing pain, she chose to attend the event due to her professional commitment. Bhasin wore sunglasses throughout the event to manage the discomfort and maintain her appearance.

After the event, Bhasin rushed to Mumbai for further treatment. She visited an eye specialist who diagnosed her with corneal damage and promptly bandaged her eyes. The actor is currently undergoing treatment and has been advised that her recovery should take around four to five days. Bhasin shared the struggle, stating, “I am experiencing a lot of pain. Doctors have told me that I should recover in the next four to five days, but till then, I need to take good care of my eyes.”

Jasmin Bhasin, known for her roles in popular television serials like Dil Se Dil Tak, Naagin 4: Bhagya Ka Zehreela Khel, and Tashan-e-Ishq, as well as her participation in reality shows such as Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 9 and Bigg Boss 14, has been active in both television and film industries. She made her debut in Tamil cinema with Vaanam and has appeared in several other films.
