Diljit Dosanjh’s much-anticipated Dil-Luminati Tour is all set to make its grand debut in India, and fans wasted no time securing their spots. After mesmerizing audiences across Canada, the U.S., Australia, and New Zealand, the Punjabi singer and actor will now perform in several Indian cities. Early bird tickets for the Indian leg of the tour went on sale at 12 PM on Tuesday, and within just two minutes, they were completely sold out, according to Hindustan Times.
The presale tickets were exclusively available to HDFC Pixel Credit Card holders, offering a 48-hour early access window before the general public could purchase. Fans also enjoyed an additional 10 percent discount on the early bird tickets. The lowest-priced ticket, for the silver (seated) section, was priced at ₹1,499, while the gold (standing) section tickets were available for ₹3,999.
The India leg of the Dil-Luminati Tour will kick off on October 26, with Diljit performing in cities such as Delhi NCR, Chandigarh, Guwahati, Pune, Indore, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Lucknow, Hyderabad, and Ahmedabad.
Before his India performances, Diljit will be touring Europe from September 9 to October 2. Fans in cities like Paris, London, Dublin, and Amsterdam will get to experience his electrifying shows.
Earlier, Diljit made headlines when he met Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau during his concert at the Rogers Centre in Toronto. In a video shared on Instagram, Trudeau is seen joining Diljit and his dancers on stage during a rehearsal, with the singer’s squad chanting, “Punjabi aa gye oye.” Diljit and Trudeau shared a fun moment as they got the crowd cheering and chanting “Trudeau” in unison. Diljit captioned the video, “Diversity is Canada‘s strength. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau came to check out history in the making: we sold out the Rogers Centre!”
