Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 7: Vicky Kaushal’s Film Crosses ₹219 Crore Mark

Vicky Kaushal’s historical drama Chhaava continues its impressive box office run, collecting ₹22 crore on its seventh day. According to a Sacnilk report, the film has now amassed a total of ₹219.75 crore within its first week.

Directed by Laxman Utekar, Chhaava is based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the second ruler of the Maratha Confederacy. The film features Vicky Kaushal in the titular role, with Rashmika Mandanna portraying Yesubai Bhonsale. The ensemble cast also includes Akshaye Khanna as Aurangzeb, Ashutosh Rana as Hambirrao Mohite, Diana Penty as Zinat-un-Nissa Begum, and Divya Dutta as Soyarabai.

Stronghold in Maharashtra, Expansion in Other Regions

The film recorded an overall 27.96% Hindi occupancy on its first Thursday, showcasing its consistent audience pull. Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh recently took to X to highlight Chhaava’s extraordinary performance, particularly in Maharashtra, where it continues to draw massive crowds.

Celebrating the film’s entry into the ₹200 crore club, Adarsh wrote:
“200 NOT OUT: ‘CHHAAVA’ IS SENSATIONAL… RECORD HOLD IN MAHARASHTRA… #Chhaava makes a grand entry into the ₹200 crore club, aided by the #ChhatrapatiShivajiMaharajJayanti holiday boost on Wednesday [Day 6].”

On Day 6, Chhaava collected over ₹30 crore, nearly matching its opening day figures from Valentine’s Day. The film is also seeing increased footfall in Rajasthan and West Bengal, further strengthening its hold at the box office.

Taran Adarsh shared the detailed earnings for Chhaava’s first week:

  • Friday (Day 1): ₹33.10 crore
  • Saturday (Day 2): ₹39.30 crore
  • Sunday (Day 3): ₹49.03 crore
  • Monday (Day 4): ₹24.10 crore
  • Tuesday (Day 5): ₹25.75 crore
  • Wednesday (Day 6): ₹32.40 crore
  • Thursday (Day 7): ₹22 crore
  • Total Collection (Week 1): ₹219.75 crore

What’s Next for Chhaava?

With its unstoppable run in Maharashtra and growing traction in other states, Chhaava is expected to continue its dominance at the box office until the release of Sikandar on Eid. Given the current trends, trade analysts predict that the film could cross the ₹300 crore mark in the coming days.
