Allu Arjun Compares Pushpa 2's Spirit to ‘Naya Bharat,’ Celebrates India's Growth

Telugu superstar Allu Arjun drew an inspiring parallel between his character in Pushpa 2: The Rule and the spirit of a rapidly evolving India. While promoting the film in Delhi on Thursday, the actor spoke about the country’s exponential growth and how it reflects the resilience depicted in his film.

Addressing the media in the nation’s capital, Arjun shared his optimism about India’s future. He said, “As an Indian standing in the country’s capital, I believe India will lead the future of the world. India will be the leading country in the world.”

Switching to Hindi, he added, “Ye naya Bharat hai, ye ab rukega nahi, ye kabhi jhukega nahi (This is the new India, it won’t stop or bow down).” The actor also revealed that his favorite part of the film is when his character, Pushpa Raj, confidently declares, “Main jhukega nahi” (I won’t bow down).

Pushpa 2’s Record-Breaking Success

Arjun expressed gratitude for the film’s unprecedented success, becoming the first Indian movie to gross over ₹1000 crore worldwide in less than a week. He remarked, “Numbers are temporary, but love is etched in hearts forever. I always believe records are meant to be broken. It’s nice I am in this top spot now, but in the next 2-3 months, I hope these records are broken soon, no matter which film does it, be it Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, or any other. That’s progression; that means India is going up.”

About Pushpa 2: The Rule

Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2: The Rule is the highly anticipated sequel to the 2021 blockbuster Pushpa: The Rise. The movie chronicles the life of Pushpa Raj, a daily wage laborer turned smuggler, and his rise through adversity. Rashmika Mandanna reprises her role as Srivalli, Pushpa’s wife, while Fahadh Faasil returns as the antagonist Bhanwar Singh Shekawat.

With the film already breaking records, fans and critics alike are eager to see how it will perform in the coming days.
