Ajith Kumar Celebrates Dubai 24H Race Podium Finish with Indian Flag and Kiss for Wife Shalini

Actor Ajith Kumar made a triumphant return to the Dubai 24H car racing event, securing third place in the 991 category and earning the Spirit of the Race title in the GT4 category. This marked a remarkable comeback for the veteran actor and motor racing enthusiast after several years away from competitive racing.

A Moment of Celebration

Following his win, Ajith proudly waved the Indian flag as his wife, Shalini, and actor R Madhavan cheered him on. In a heartwarming moment captured on video, Ajith kissed Shalini, who supported him from the pit lane, and embraced his daughter, Anoushka.

Ajith’s racing team announced the achievement on X (formerly Twitter), stating:
“Double whammy for Ajith Kumar. 3rd place in the 991 category and Spirit of the Race in the GT4 category. What a remarkable comeback after an accident due to brake failure. #AjithKumar #AjithKumarRacing #24HDubai #AKRacing #DubaiRaceWeekend #Racing.”

Overcoming Adversity

Ajith’s success comes just days after a dramatic accident during a practice run. A video released by his team showed his car spinning seven times after crashing into a barrier due to brake failure. Fortunately, Ajith emerged unhurt. His manager, Suresh Chandra, told NDTV, “Ajith is unhurt, hale, and healthy. He was driving at a speed of 180 km/h when the accident occurred.”

Ajith Kumar’s Upcoming Projects

Beyond the racing track, Ajith is gearing up for two film releases. His upcoming movie Vidaamuyarchi, directed by Magizh Thirumeni, has yet to announce its release date. Meanwhile, Good Bad Ugly, directed by Adhik Ravichandran, is set to hit theaters on April 10.

Ajith Kumar’s Dubai 24H performance is a testament to his resilience and passion for racing, earning admiration both on and off the track. Fans and fellow racers continue to celebrate his extraordinary return to the sport.
