Renowned actor Yash is gearing up to commence filming for his highly anticipated movie “Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups” in Karnataka. Directed by Geetu Mohandas and produced by Venkat K Narayana’s KVN Productions and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations, the film is set to showcase Yash’s talent in a captivating narrative.
The decision to shoot in Karnataka comes as a strategic move to address the lack of optimal filming facilities within the state. Expressing his concerns about filming outside Karnataka, Yash has spearheaded the initiative to shoot “Toxic” locally, creating substantial job opportunities for technicians, budding talent, and individuals at the grassroots level.
“We have erected massive sets and are committed to making a film of global potential, showcasing the tremendous capabilities of our people,” stated the film’s producers. Despite having options for filming in various locations across India and abroad, the team chose Karnataka as the base for “Toxic,” demonstrating their confidence in local talent and resources.
“In December 2023, Yash unveiled the film’s title with a video on Instagram, hinting at the film’s intriguing narrative set against the backdrop of the drug mafia,” the statement added. Yash’s previous successes, notably the “KGF” series, have elevated his status as a household name, fueling anticipation among fans for his upcoming venture.
