Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal have recently stepped into the joyous world of parenthood. The beloved Bollywood couple welcomed their first child, a baby girl, on June 3, and on Friday afternoon, they took their little one home. This marked Natasha’s first public appearance since giving birth. The new parents were captured outside the hospital, dressed in casual attire, with Varun tenderly holding their baby girl, wrapped adorably in a pink cloth.
Varun Dhawan shared the joyous news with his fans via Instagram, posting an animated video featuring his pet dog, Joey, holding a board that read, “Welcome lil sis.” In his caption, Varun expressed his gratitude for the well-wishes, writing, “Our baby girl is here. Thank you for all the good wishes for the mama and the baby. Hail Ram Hail Ram, Ram Rama Hail Hail Krishna Hail Krishna Krishna Hail Hail.”
Director David Dhawan, Varun’s father, confirmed the news of the baby girl’s arrival. In a viral video, David Dhawan is seen exiting the hospital, and when asked by photographers about the baby’s gender, he happily announced, “Beti huyi hai (we have been blessed with a baby girl).” Varun, accompanying his father, also shared his happiness, saying, “All good,” with a broad smile.
Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal had announced their pregnancy in February this year. Varun posted an adorable monochrome picture on social media, where he is seen kissing Natasha’s baby bump while their pet dog Joey sits on a sofa. The caption read, “We are pregnant. Need all your blessings and love #myfamilymystrength.”
The couple tied the knot on January 24, 2021, in a close-knit ceremony attended by close friends and family. Varun and Natasha had been dating for several years before deciding to take their relationship to the next level.
On the professional front, Varun Dhawan is gearing up for the release of the action thriller “Baby John,” directed by A Kaleeswaran and presented by Atlee in association with Jio Studios and Cine1 Studios. Additionally, Varun will star in the Indian adaptation of the Hollywood series “Citadel,” opposite Samantha Ruth Prabhu. He is also set to appear in the film “Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari.”
