Thandel Box Office Collection Day 3: Naga Chaitanya-Sai Pallavi Starrer Crosses ₹30 Crore Mark

Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi’s latest action thriller, Thandel, continues its impressive run at the box office. Released on February 7, the film earned ₹12.25 crore on its third day, taking its total collection to ₹35.85 crore, according to Sacnilk.

Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, Thandel recorded a strong 62.07% Telugu occupancy rate on its first Sunday. The film has been released in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi.

Plot and Cast

Thandel revolves around a group of fishermen from Srikakulam who face life-threatening challenges after accidentally crossing into Pakistani waters. Naga Chaitanya plays Raju, while Sai Pallavi portrays Bujji Thalli. The film also features Sundip R Ved as the antagonist, with supporting roles played by Divya Pillai, Rao Ramesh, and Prakash Belawadi.

Bankrolled by Bunny Vasu, Allu Aravind, and Koppineedi Vidya under the banner of Geetha Arts, the film blends high-octane action, intense emotions, and gripping storytelling.

Trailer and Audience Reception

The film’s trailer, unveiled on January 31, showcased the emotional depth of the lead pair’s chemistry along with thrilling action sequences. The mix of romance, separation, and conflict has resonated with audiences, contributing to the movie’s strong box office performance.

This is Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi’s second film together after their successful 2021 collaboration, Love Story. Their chemistry was a major highlight of that film, and fans were eagerly awaiting their reunion.

Sobhita Dhulipala Shows Support

Adding to the buzz, Naga Chaitanya’s rumored partner, actress Sobhita Dhulipala, was spotted supporting him on Thandel’s release day. She posed for pictures wearing a black hoodie featuring the film’s title and a ship artwork from the movie poster.

Naga Chaitanya’s Recent Projects

Before Thandel, Naga Chaitanya was seen in the 2023 action thriller Custody and the Prime Video web series Dhootha. With Thandel continuing its successful run, fans and industry experts are eagerly watching its box office performance in the coming days.
