Advait Chandan’s romantic comedy Loveyapa, starring Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor, completed its first weekend in theatres with a total domestic collection of ₹4.25 crore. The Hindi remake of Pradeep Ranganathan’s Tamil film Love Today had a slow start but witnessed a growth in earnings over the weekend.

Loveyapa, featuring debutants Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan, hit theatres on Friday but struggled to make an impact at the box office on its opening day. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the romantic comedy directed by Advait Chandan collected only Rs 1.25 crore nett in India, marking a slow start.

Bollywood icons Rekha and Aamir Khan shared a heartfelt moment with veteran actor Dharmendra at the special screening of Loveyapa, ahead of its theatrical release on February 7. The film, marking the big-screen debut of Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor, has been directed by Advait Chandan.
