The teaser also showcases Emily Watson as Valya Harkonnen, who delivers a chilling line: “Sacrifices must be made.” The teaser, shared on YouTube, was accompanied by the caption, “True power begins with control,” hinting at the underlying theme of the series.

The series, inspired by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson’s novel Sisterhood of Dune, delves into the origins of the Bene Gesserit sisterhood 10,000 years before the main events of Frank Herbert’s Dune series.
