Bollywood icon Sushmita Sen, accompanied by her daughters, added a touch of elegance to the Durga Puja celebrations as they graced a pandal on a special Saturday. The highlight of the day was Sushmita’s enchanting performance of the traditional Dhunuchi dance, made all the more special as she shared the moment with her daughter, Renee Sen.

The mother-daughter duo donned matching sarees, radiating grace and charm throughout the celebration. Sushmita looked resplendent in a vibrant pink bandhni saree, while Renee adorned a red saree paired with a silver halter blouse and glasses. Their synergy was undeniable as they performed the Dhunuchi dance, a traditional dance form that involves gracefully swaying with a clay pot in hand after the aarti at a Durga Puja pandal.

A video capturing Sushmita and Renee’s dance performance was shared by a paparazzo, quickly capturing the hearts of fans on social media. In the video, Sushmita, with her hair tied back in a ponytail, and Renee displayed their enthusiasm, dancing barefoot and exuding the essence of the festive spirit.

While delighting in the Durga Puja celebrations, Sushmita’s upcoming project, “Aarya Season 3,” is also generating anticipation. The action thriller series is set to premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on November 3, with Sushmita reprising her role as Aarya. The trailer revealed a more intense and empowered Aarya, exploring her newfound role as the head of her father’s opium empire.

Recently, Sushmita Sen featured in the web series “Taali,” portraying transgender activist Gauri Sawant.
