Actor Sonakshi Sinha made a striking appearance at India Couture Week in Delhi, where she turned showstopper for designer Dolly J. This marked her first ramp walk since her recent marriage to actor Zaheer Iqbal.
Dressed in a dazzling blush pink gown with a high slit and intricate embellishments, Sonakshi’s ensemble was complemented by a matching cape and heels. Her captivating performance on the ramp was set to the tune of “Lovefool” by The Cardigans, performed live by a singer.
Following the event, Sonakshi shared insights into her wedding and fashion choices. Reflecting on her wedding attire, she mentioned, “It took us just five minutes to choose the outfits. I had a clear vision of wearing a red saree, specifically my mother’s saree, along with her jewelry for the actual ceremony. The simplicity of the outfit allowed me to enjoy the day without stress.”
Sonakshi’s wedding to Zaheer took place on June 23 at their Mumbai residence, followed by a grand reception at Bastian. The intimate ceremony was attended by a host of Bollywood celebrities, including Saira Banu, Rekha, Salman Khan, Vidya Balan, and Siddharth Roy Kapur.
The couple, who had been together for seven years, celebrated their union in a private yet stylish affair.
On the professional front, Sonakshi was recently featured in the horror-comedy film Kakuda, directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and released on ZEE5 on July 12. The film, which also stars Riteish Deshmukh and Saqib Saleem, has garnered attention for its blend of humor and horror.
