The supernatural thriller “Shaitaan,” featuring Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan in lead roles, has been making waves at the box office since its release on March 8. The film, which also stars Palak Lalwani, Manoj Anand, and Richa Prakash in pivotal roles, has garnered significant attention and is inching closer to the ₹80 crore mark in its week-one box office collections.

On its seventh day of release, “Shaitaan” raked in ₹5.75 crore, as reported by Sacnilk, bringing its total domestic box office collection to a whopping ₹79.75 crore. Directed by Vikas Bahl, the movie is a remake of the 2023 Gujarati superhit film “Vash” and narrates the gripping tale of a family facing torment at the hands of a man wielding supernatural powers.

The film’s star-studded cast, including Ajay Devgn, R Madhavan, Janki Bodiwala, and Jyothika, has delivered powerful performances that have resonated with audiences. “Shaitaan” has been jointly produced by Ajay Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, Kumar Mangat Pathak, and Abhishek Pathak, further adding to its success.

Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh recently shared a behind-the-scenes video from the shoot of “Shaitaan,” showcasing spine-chilling moments from the film. Adarsh expressed excitement about the film and encouraged viewers to delve into the world of “Shaitaan” through this captivating footage.

Film critic Saibal Chatterjee praised the performances in “Shaitaan,” particularly highlighting Ajay Devgn and Jyothika’s roles as flummoxed parents dealing with a mysterious man’s hypnotic powers. The film’s intriguing storyline and strong performances have contributed to its box office triumph.
