Saripodhaa Sanivaaram Box Office Collection Day 3: Nani's Film Nears ₹25 Crore Mark

Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, the latest action-thriller featuring Telugu star Nani, has seen a promising run at the box office, with collections steadily rising over its first weekend. Directed by Vivek Athreya, the film grossed ₹9.15 crore across all languages on its third day, according to a report by Sacnilk. This brings the film’s total domestic earnings to ₹24 crore, moving it closer to the ₹25 crore mark.

Saripodhaa Sanivaaram is currently running in theatres across multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. The film follows the story of Surya, played by Nani, a man who battles his uncontrollable rage. On the advice of his mother, Surya decides to confront his grievances only on Saturdays, spending the week compiling a list of people who have wronged him, and then seeking revenge exclusively on the weekend.

The film’s ensemble cast includes notable actors such as SJ Suryah, Sai Kumar P, Abhirami, Aditi Balan, Murali Sharma, Priyanka Mohan, Jhansi, and Supreeth.

Nani shared his excitement over the film’s progress on social media, posting a picture on Instagram with the crew of Saripodhaa Sanivaaram on Saturday. The photo, taken in a cinema hall, captures the team celebrating the film’s success. “With the men behind the madness,” Nani captioned the post.

In a recent interview with ETimes, Nani discussed his approach to the film, clarifying that he does not see Saripodhaa Sanivaaram—also known as Surya’s Saturday—as a pan-India project. “I’m not looking at Surya’s Saturday as a pan-India film. In fact, it is going to be a limited release in Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. It is for people who want to watch the film in their own language. This is not to make any numbers or to be called a pan-India film, etc. I’m just trying to make the film available to those who have started watching me on OTT or otherwise,” the actor explained.

Nani also addressed the affection he has received from audiences beyond the Telugu-speaking regions, particularly in North India. “A lot of time I get to see the love the North audience or Hindi audience has given me. They really liked my last film Hi Papa and Dasara. So Surya’s Saturday is primarily a Telugu release, and this time we are going for a slightly wider release in Tamil,” Nani added. He further emphasized that there is no comparison between his film and larger pan-India blockbusters like RRR, Pushpa, or Baahubali. “I’m just a humble actor coming with a humble film,” he stated.

With positive word-of-mouth and steady box office growth, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram seems poised to continue its strong performance in the coming days.
