Following the recent firing incident outside his residence, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is gearing up to return to work and commence shooting for his upcoming project.
Despite the shocking events, Salman Khan maintains a resilient attitude towards his professional commitments. He departed for Dubai today for a pre-scheduled brand opening event, showcasing his dedication to his work. Accompanied by heightened security measures, Khan arrived at the airport in a bulletproof SUV, a precautionary measure he adopted in 2023 for safety reasons.
While the incident has understandably left the Khan family in shock, they are steadfast in not allowing it to disrupt their routines. A close source revealed, “The whole family is in shock with the incident, but at the same time, they are not letting it get to their head. They are coping up with it fine and focusing on their respective work commitments.”
Regarding Salman Khan’s upcoming projects, the source mentioned that there were no immediate shoots planned, giving ample time for detailed planning amidst the new security considerations. Khan is set to commence shooting for the highly anticipated film ‘Sikandar,’ directed by AR Murugadoss, in June 2024. The shoot location is yet to be finalized, with the team currently on a recce to ensure a safe and conducive filming environment.
“Salman is paying all his attention towards working on his character, and getting it right,” the insider shared. “The shoot location is still not finalised, as the team is on a recce.”
The safety and security of Salman Khan remain paramount, especially in light of recent events and ongoing threats. Since November 2022, Khan’s security level has been escalated to Y-Plus due to potential threats from gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar. Khan has also been granted permission to carry a personal firearm, and he recently acquired an armoured vehicle for enhanced protection.
While Mumbai police continue to investigate the firing incident, Salman Khan remains focused on his professional commitments, showcasing resilience and determination in the face of adversity.
