Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer “Tiger 3,” helmed by director Maneesh Sharma, has stormed into the prestigious ₹300 crore club at the global box office. The film’s team disclosed that “Tiger 3” grossed a remarkable ₹229 crore (₹188.25 crore nett) within India, while securing ₹71 crore gross ($8.50 million) globally, tallying a cumulative worldwide earning of ₹300 crore gross ($36.15 million).
Reportedly, the film amassed ₹188.25 crore nett in India during its first six days. The box office collections charted as follows: ₹44.50 crore on day one, ₹59.25 crore on day two, ₹44.75 crore on day three, ₹21.25 crore on day four, and ₹18.50 crore on day five.
“Tiger 3” boasts an ensemble cast, featuring Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Emraan Hashmi in pivotal roles. It marks the third installment in the Tiger franchise and is part of the YRF Spy Universe, aligning with earlier hits like “War” and “Pathaan.” The film also includes special appearances by Shah Rukh Khan and a post-credit scene featuring Hrithik Roshan.
Much like its predecessors, “Ek Tha Tiger” and “Tiger Zinda Hai,” the film centers around a new mission involving RA&W agent Tiger (Salman) and ISI agent Zoya (Katrina Kaif). Directed by Kabir Khan, the first installment, “Ek Tha Tiger,” released in 2012, while the franchise expanded with “Tiger Zinda Hai” directed by Ali Abbas Zafar in 2017.
