Saba Azad Sends Love to Hrithik Roshan as He Makes His Directorial Debut With Krrish 4

Hrithik Roshan is set to step behind the camera for the first time as a director with the highly anticipated Krrish 4. The film, which will be produced in collaboration with Yash Raj Films (YRF) and Rakesh Roshan, marks a new milestone in Hrithik’s career.

The announcement was made by veteran filmmaker and Hrithik’s father, Rakesh Roshan, on Friday. Sharing a heartfelt Instagram post with his son, Rakesh Roshan expressed his pride in Hrithik’s journey. “Duggu, 25 years back, I launched you as an actor, and today again after 25 years, you are being launched as a director by two filmmakers, Aditya Chopra & myself, to take forward our most ambitious film #Krrish4. Wish you all the success in this new avatar with good wishes and blessings,” he wrote.

Hrithik’s girlfriend, actress Saba Azad, was among the first to celebrate the news. She reposted Rakesh Roshan’s announcement, adding heart emojis to show her excitement. Hrithik’s sister, Sunaina Roshan, also shared her joy, calling Krrish 4 a dream project for both Hrithik and their father. “Watching them take this vision forward fills me with immense pride. Words can’t describe how excited I am to see Duggu step into the director’s role,” she wrote.

Filming for Krrish 4 is set to begin early next year, with more details expected soon. In a recent interview with ANI, Rakesh Roshan mentioned that the script is “almost ready” and that an official announcement would be made soon.

The Krrish franchise, which began with Koi… Mil Gaya (2003), has been a defining part of Indian cinema. The series introduced audiences to Rohit Mehra and his extraterrestrial friend, followed by Krrish (2006) and Krrish 3 (2013), which cemented Hrithik’s superhero legacy in Bollywood.

With Krrish 4, Hrithik Roshan is set to bring a fresh perspective to the beloved franchise, this time not just as its lead star but also as its director.
