Ranvir Shorey Reflects on Bigg Boss OTT 3 Journey After Finishing as Second Runner-Up

As Bigg Boss OTT Season 3 came to a close, Ranvir Shorey, who finished as the second runner-up, took a moment to reflect on his intense and transformative journey through the reality show. Hosted by Bollywood icon Anil Kapoor, this season concluded with TV actor Sana Makbul emerging as the winner and rapper Naezy claiming the runner-up spot.

In an interview with ANI following his eviction, Shorey shared his thoughts on the competition and his experiences inside the house. He acknowledged his significant achievement, stating, “Five ke baad three tak aagaya, bahut hai” (I went from top 5 to top 3. That’s enough). Shorey emphasized the nature of the competition, noting that success on the show often comes down to the favor and votes received from the audience: “The one who receives Bigg Boss’s favour and gets more votes wins – that’s how life is.”

Reflecting on the challenges of the show, Shorey admitted that staying away from his family for 42 days and living with 15 strangers in isolation was incredibly demanding. He described the experience as “very tough,” but also highlighted the personal growth and memories he gained from the journey. “I’ve learned a lot, gained experience, and created lasting memories,” Shorey noted, adding that the difficulties faced inside the house made it a particularly challenging experience.

Throughout the season, Shorey formed strong bonds with several housemates, including Armaan Malik, Deepak Chaurasia, and Kritika Malik. However, he also experienced conflicts with other contestants, mentioning that he had disagreements with Sana Makbul, Lavkesh, Vishal, and Shivani. Despite these challenges, Shorey expressed his gratitude to the audience for their support, acknowledging that his achievement of reaching the top 3 was due to their encouragement.

Looking beyond the reality show, Shorey reaffirmed his primary ambitions in filmmaking and acting. “My core ambition is not to win a reality show; it lies in filmmaking and acting. I am coming out after 42 days, I hope to face new challenges,” he said. He also hinted at an upcoming project, a show titled Shekhar Home, set to release on JioCinema, featuring Kay Kay Menon in the lead role.
