"Radhika Apte's Airport Ordeal: Actor Locked in Aerobridge for Hours, Decries Lack of Facilities"

Bollywood actor Radhika Apte took to Instagram to share a harrowing experience at an undisclosed airport where she, along with fellow passengers, was locked inside the aerobridge for hours due to a delayed flight. The ‘Sacred Games’ star expressed frustration over the lack of access to basic facilities such as water and restroom during the ordeal.

In her Instagram post, Radhika Apte, without specifying the city or airline, narrated the sequence of events. She revealed that the scheduled 8:30 am flight had not boarded by 10:50 am. To make matters worse, the airline announced boarding, confined all passengers to the aerobridge, and subsequently locked the area.

Sharing images and videos on her social media account, the 38-year-old actor posted a clip showing passengers behind a locked glass door, engaged in conversations with security staff within the aerobridge. Apte criticized the airline’s handling of the situation, highlighting the lack of communication and inconvenience caused to the passengers.

“Now I’m locked inside. AND they just told us that we will be here till minimum 12 pm. All locked in. No water, no loo. Thanks for the fun ride,” Apte wrote in her post, expressing her frustration at the extended wait without essential amenities.

According to Apte, the airline staff attributed the delay to a crew change, and the new staff had not yet arrived. The uncertainty regarding the arrival time of the new crew added to the passengers’ frustration as they remained locked inside the aerobridge.

Apte managed to briefly communicate with a staff member outside, who downplayed the situation, claiming there was no issue or delay. The actor, known for her roles in films like ‘Andhadhun,’ ‘PadMan,’ and ‘Sacred Games,’ expressed her displeasure at the lack of transparency and discomfort experienced by passengers during the unexpected airport ordeal.

The incident sheds light on the challenges faced by travelers when flights are delayed, emphasizing the need for effective communication, passenger welfare, and contingency plans to ensure a smoother travel experience.
