Hifzur Rahman Seoharwi Rahman Seoharwi (1900 – 2 August 1962) was an Indian Sunni Islamic scholar and an activist of the Indian independence movement, who served as the fourth general secretary of the Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind. He fought against British rule for 25 years (1922-1947) and spent eight years in jail. As a politician, he opposed the partition of India, and served as a member of the Indian Parliament for the Indian National Congress from Amroha (Lok Sabha constituency) from 1952 to 1962.

Asaf Ali (11 May 1888 – 2 April 1953) was an Indian independence activist and noted lawyer. He was the first Indian Ambassador to the United States. He also served as the Governor of Odisha. In 1914, the British attack on the Ottoman Empire had a large effect on the Indian Muslim community. Asaf Ali supported the Turkish side and resigned from the Privy Council. He saw this as an act of non-cooperation and returned to India in December 1914. Upon his return to India, Asaf Ali became heavily involved in the nationalist movement. He was elected to the Central Legislative Assembly in 1935 as a member of the Muslim Nationalist Party. He then became significant as a Congress member and was appointed deputy leader.

Hilal Sivharvi’s real name was Qazi Habib-Ur-Rehman . He was born on 15 January 1928 in the town of Sivhara in Bijnor District (UP). His father’s name was Qazi Fazal Haq, and Hilal had inherited his taste and interest in poetry form him. His great-grandfather Qazi Zahoor-ul-Haq was one of the prominent Persian and Urdu poets of his time. Hilal wasn’t much interested in education and would often escape the bounds of Madrasas. Therefore, he was not formally educated, but the literary atmosphere at home and the climate of Sivhara‘s poetry and speech compelled him to study. He was a staunch opponent of bigotry in the social system and was heartbroken to see workers sweating for a living in the scorching sun. He resented the system of inequality and oppression.

Gyan Chand Jain is a famous writer of Urdu language. He was awarded Sahitya Akademi Award in 1982 for his book ‘Zikr-o-Fikr’. [1] Prof. Gyan Chand Jain of Seohara was a world famous writer of Urdu language. The district has set many important benchmarks in the field of literature. In Hindi literature, editor Pandit Rudradutt Sharma, and Pandit Padmasingh Sharma, who wrote a comparative review of Bihari Satsai, were from Bijnor district. In Urdu literature, Dr. Abdul Rehman Bijnouri and Prof. Gyan Chand Jain of Seohara city of the district are famous even outside the country. Prof. Gyan Chand Jain’s name is recorded in golden letters in Urdu criticism. He was an excellent linguist, poet and critic of Urdu. In the year 1982, he was honored with Sahitya Akademi Award for Urdu language for his book ‘Zikr-o-Fikr’. Gyan Chand Jain, son of Shahu Bahal Chand Jain of the city, was born on 21 September 1923. He received his early education in Seohara itself. He completed MA Urdu, D Litt and PhD on Urdu’s Nasri Dastaan in 1948 from Allahabad University. In 1960, Agra University awarded him an award for his Urdu Masnavi Shumali Hind.

Kunwar Rana Pratap Singh (Rana Bhaiya) was born on 15 number 1955 at Kunwar Raghopratap’s house in Seohara Riyasat Basant Vatika. Manager of RSP Inter College in Kunwar Rana Pratap, Patron in Ram Leela Committee and member of Rifle Association and renowned shooter of the state. Arun Kumar Verma was born on 11 October 1958 in Sohra Bijnor Uttar Pradesh. He belongs to family. He is an Indian social worker. After which he supported the traders in every problem in such a way that he stood shoulder to shoulder with the traders 24 hours a day without any discrimination. After which, pleased with his service, the higher officials made him the President of Uttar Pradesh Contemporary Society Association (Uttar Pradesh samakaleen samajik assosiation). Arun Verma is a successful politician as well as a successful jeweler. Due to which he was honorably appointed to the post of State General Secretary in Uttar Pradesh Jewelers Association.While fulfilling all his responsibilities, Arun Verma ji is respected in all areas along with his other fields.
