A recent controversy involving actor-politician Ravi Kishan has taken a legal turn as his wife, Preeti Shukla, has filed an FIR against Aparna Thakur, a woman from Lucknow, for falsely claiming to be Kishan’s wife and making extortion threats.
Preeti Shukla lodged the FIR at Hazratganj police station, accusing Aparna Thakur of demanding ₹20 crores and threatening to implicate Kishan in a fake rape case. The complaint highlights Thakur’s alleged connections with the underworld and her public accusations against Kishan.
Aparna Thakur held a press conference in Lucknow, claiming that Ravi Kishan is not acknowledging their daughter from her second marriage. She expressed her intention to take legal action and urged Kishan to recognize their daughter’s rights.
In response to the allegations, Ravi Kishan remained unavailable for direct comment due to his busy schedule with elections. However, he expressed through text that he would address the matter later.
Thakur’s daughter, Shinnova, shared a video appealing for recognition and rights, while Thakur herself clarified that she intends to resolve the matter legally without involving the police for Kishan’s well-being.
