Prabhas-starrer ‘Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire’ continues its triumphant run at the worldwide box office, inching closer to a significant milestone of ₹700 crore in just 18 days since its release. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the action-packed film has captivated audiences globally, showcasing impressive earnings despite entering its third week in theaters.

On its 18th day, ‘Salaar’ amassed ₹6.81 crore, propelling its cumulative global box office collection to an impressive ₹694.32 crore. The movie’s consistent performance is expected to propel it into the esteemed ₹700 crore club by its 19th day in cinemas.

Film trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan shared the film’s day-wise box office figures on social media, detailing its exceptional journey. ‘Salaar’ embarked on a remarkable trajectory from its stellar opening day, maintaining a robust earnings pattern throughout its theatrical run.

Vijayabalan’s breakdown showcased the movie’s box office earnings, starting from a staggering ₹176.52 crore on day one and maintaining a steady flow, marking the movie’s consistent popularity among audiences.

Previously, Vijayabalan highlighted ‘Salaar’ securing a position among the top 5 highest-grossing South Indian movies. The film shares this prestigious list with acclaimed movies like Rajinikanth’s ‘2.0,’ Yash’s ‘KGF: Chapter 2,’ and SS Rajamouli’s monumental films, ‘RRR’ and ‘Baahubali 2.’

Directed by Prashanth Neel, ‘Salaar’ features Prabhas alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran and Shruti Haasan in prominent roles. The movie narrates the story of a gang leader determined to fulfill a promise made to a dying friend, setting the stage for intense action and gripping storytelling.

Released on December 22 across Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi languages, ‘Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire’ marks the first collaboration between Neel and Prabhas, showcasing their collective prowess in delivering a compelling cinematic experience. The film’s success has also spurred discussions about its sequel, ‘Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam,’ currently in progress.

Despite facing competition at the box office from Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dunki,’ ‘Salaar’ has maintained its stronghold, showcasing its enduring appeal and drawing audiences into its high-octane narrative. As the movie continues to dominate the global box office, its impending entry into the ₹700 crore league stands as a testament to its overwhelming popularity and success among cinema enthusiasts worldwide.
