"PM Modi Releases New Garba Song 'Maadi' on Navratri, Embracing Festive Rhythms"

On the auspicious occasion of Navratri, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has gifted the nation a vibrant new Garba song titled “Maadi.” Written by PM Modi himself, the song is brought to life by the soulful voice of Divya Kumar and the composition skills of the Meet Bros. The music video for “Maadi” has been released on YouTube and X (formerly Twitter), spreading the festive joy. PM Modi expressed, “As the auspicious Navratri dawns upon us, I am delighted to share a Garba penned by me during the past week. Let the festive rhythms embrace everyone!” He also extended his gratitude to the singer and composer “for giving voice and music to this Garba.”

The song, which is four minutes and 40 seconds long, is sung in Gujarati and captures the essence of Navratri with its colorful celebrations. In the video, people dressed in vibrant attire can be seen heading to various Garba venues to dance to the enchanting beats, with some enthusiasts wielding dandiya sticks. Notably, one frame features the Statue of Unity, a monumental tribute to Sardar Vallabhai Patel in Vadodara.

In addition to “Maadi,” a music video featuring another Garba song written by PM Modi was unveiled on Saturday. Titled “Garbo,” the 190-second song, penned by the Prime Minister several years ago, is sung by Dhvani Bhanushali and composed by Tanishk Bagchi. It was released under the banner of Jjust Music, a music label founded by actor-producer Jackky Bhagnani. This song quickly gained popularity online, amassing over a million views on YouTube within six hours of its release. Described as “inspired by the poetic notes penned by none other than the one and only PM Narendra Modi,” “Garbo” offers a glimpse of Gujarat’s vibrant culture during Navratri.

PM Modi expressed his anticipation for “Maadi” on Saturday, stating, “I have not written for many years now, but I did manage to write a new Garba over the last few days, which I will share during Navratri.” On the first day of Navratri, he extended his wishes, saying, “May mother Durga, who gives strength, bring happiness, prosperity, good fortune, and good health to everyone’s life.”

As Navratri fills the air with joy and devotion, PM Modi’s Garba songs add an extra layer of celebration and cultural vibrancy to the festivities.
