The trailer for the upcoming Telugu film “Manamey,” starring Sharwanand and Krithi Shetty, has been released, creating a buzz among fans and movie enthusiasts. Directed by Sriram Adittya, the film is set to hit theaters on June 7.
On Saturday, actor Ram Charan launched the trailer, giving a shout-out to his friend Sharwanand. The 2-minute-15-second trailer introduces Sharwanand as a carefree and flirtatious character who contrasts sharply with Krithi Shetty’s meticulous personality. The trailer opens with Sharwanand’s character attempting to charm an air hostess by asking for her number, establishing his laidback demeanor. Krithi Shetty’s character, in contrast, is shown to be more organized and methodical.
A key aspect of the trailer is the presence of a toddler, played by Vikram Adittya, around whom the central struggle of the film seems to revolve. The trailer hints at the complexities of their situation, with both characters struggling to manage parental duties without being in a relationship. However, it teases a romantic turn as Sharwanand’s character eventually falls for Krithi’s.
Ram Charan shared the trailer on his social media account X (formerly Twitter), expressing his excitement for the film and his support for Sharwanand. He wrote, “#ManameyTrailer looks Funtastic and Fun. Best wishes to my dearest @ImSharwanand. Good luck to the entire team of #Manamey. Looking forward to the film on June 7th!” Sharwanand responded with gratitude, thanking Ram Charan for his support.
“Manamey” is Sriram Adittya’s latest project following his 2022 film “Hero,” which featured Ashok Galla and Nidhhi Agerwal. Alongside Sharwanand and Krithi Shetty, the film features a strong supporting cast including Seerat Kapoor, Sachin Khedekar, Vennela Kishore, Rahul Ramakrishna, and Ayesha Khan. Sharwanand underwent a significant makeover for his role, altering his hairstyle and dressing style to suit his character.
The film’s music is composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab, adding to the film’s vibrant and engaging tone. Cinematography is handled by Vishnu Sharma and Gnana Shekar VS. TG Vishwa Prasad of People Media Factory is producing the film in collaboration with Ramsey Studios, with Vivek Kuchibothla as the co-producer. Krithi Prasad and Phani Varma serve as executive producers.
With its intriguing trailer and strong cast, “Manamey” promises to be a captivating film that explores the dynamics between its lead characters and their unexpected parental responsibilities. Fans are eagerly awaiting its release on June 7 to see how the story unfolds.
