Loveyapa Box Office Collection Day 2: Junaid Khan, Khushi Kapoor's Film Holds Steady at ₹2.3 Crore

Advait Chandan’s Loveyapa, the Hindi remake of Pradeep Ranganathan’s Tamil hit Love Today, continues its box office run with a steady performance. The romantic drama, starring Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor, has collected approximately ₹2.31 crore net in India within two days of release.

Box Office Performance

According to Sacnilk, Loveyapa opened to a collection of ₹1.15 crore net on its first day, with a gross of ₹1.35 crore in India. On day two, the film showed slight growth, earning ₹1.16 crore net. It recorded a morning show occupancy of 6.09%, which increased to 14.09% by the afternoon.

However, the film faces tough competition from Badass Ravikumar, starring Himesh Reshammiya, which has performed better so far. Badass Ravikumar collected ₹2.75 crore net on its opening day and ₹1.99 crore on day two, bringing its total to ₹4.74 crore, nearly double that of Loveyapa.

Aamir Khan on Loveyapa

Aamir Khan, who has been actively promoting his son Junaid Khan’s theatrical debut, shared his thoughts on the film. Speaking to ANI, he said, “I have watched the rough cut. I liked this film. It is very entertaining. The way our lives have turned out these days due to cellphones and the interesting things that happen because of them have been shown here. All the actors have done a good job.”

He also praised Khushi Kapoor, drawing a comparison to her late mother, legendary actress Sridevi. “When I watched the film and saw Khushi, I felt like I was watching Sridevi. Her energy was there, I could see it. I am a huge fan of Sridevi,” he added.

Star-Studded Premiere

The Mumbai premiere of Loveyapa was a grand affair, attended by some of Bollywood’s biggest names, including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Juhi Chawla, Rekha, and Dharmendra. Junaid’s sister, Ira Khan, also expressed her excitement on social media, writing, “Junnu on the big screen!! If you knew Junaid personally, you’d realize just how good of an actor he is playing this role! The whole cast has done a great job.”
