Popular comedian and television host Kapil Sharma recently took to social media to express his discontent with IndiGo Airlines after a highly delayed flight experience. Sharma highlighted the significant delay and an unexpected reason given by the airline for the inconvenience—the pilot being allegedly stuck in traffic.
Venting his frustration on X (formerly Twitter), Kapil Sharma expressed disappointment with the airline’s handling of the situation. “Dear IndiGo, first you made us wait in the bus for 50 minutes, and now your team is saying the pilot is stuck in traffic. What? Really? We were supposed to take off by 8 pm, and it’s 9:20. Still, there is no pilot in the cockpit,” Sharma wrote, questioning the airline’s reliability and leaving a resolute statement, “Do you think these 180 passengers will fly in Indigo again? Never #indigo 6E 5149 #shameless.”
Sharma later shared a video of passengers deboarding the plane, revealing that they were informed about a change of aircraft, necessitating a return to the terminal for security checks.
In a follow-up post, he highlighted the inconvenience faced by passengers, stating, “Now they are deboarding all the passengers and saying we will send you on another aircraft, but again, we have to go back to the terminal for a security check.”
Additional footage shared by Sharma depicted numerous passengers expressing their frustration over the prolonged delay and seeking clarity on the situation, illustrating the widespread discontent among those affected by the flight delay.
Kapil Sharma’s public outcry sheds light on the challenges faced by passengers due to the delay and raises concerns about the airline’s accountability in ensuring timely and smooth travel experiences for its customers.
