Kanye West, now legally known as Ye, once again brought his ongoing custody battle with ex-wife Kim Kardashian into the public eye through a series of emotionally charged and controversial tweets. The 47-year-old rapper, entrepreneur, and cultural icon expressed deep frustration over what he described as being “stripped” of his parental rights, reigniting a conversation around his troubled co-parenting dynamic with Kardashian.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Ye posted a lengthy emotional message that criticized the legal system, the entertainment industry, and his celebrity peers for their silence during his ordeal. He name-dropped high-profile figures such as Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar, A$AP Rocky, Donald Trump, and Elon Musk, questioning why none had publicly supported him. “Why are you all watching and letting Kim take my kids from me in real time,” he wrote, adding, “I’m shaking typing this.”

Ye tied his struggles with parenthood to broader political and cultural issues, implying that his controversial views and past support for Donald Trump have contributed to his marginalization. “I’ve had my rights stripped because I wore a f***ing red hat. That’s when I had a breakdown and was put in the hospital,” he claimed.

In one of the most striking revelations, Kanye said he hasn’t seen his son Saint West at all in 2025. “I haven’t seen Saint this year,” he tweeted, further asserting that he needs to raise his children, not just “see” them. The couple, who share four children—North (11), Saint (8), Chicago (6), and Psalm (5)—finalized their divorce in 2022 after years of a highly public relationship.

However, Ye’s claim came under scrutiny, as earlier this year in January, he was spotted with three of his kids, including Saint, shopping at a 7-Eleven store in Tokyo’s Ginza neighborhood. The photos were obtained by Page Six.

Kanye concluded his tweets by stating that he is currently looking for “the right” lawyer to challenge Kim Kardashian for greater custody rights. His emotional appeals once again highlight the complexities of celebrity divorces and custody battles, raising questions about privacy, mental health, and parental rights under the public microscope.
