Kangana Ranaut Praises Shah Rukh Khan, Calls Him the 'Cinema God India Needs' After Jawan Release

Bollywood superstar Kangana Ranaut has showered praise on Shah Rukh Khan, lauding his extraordinary journey in the film industry, following the massive success of his recent release, “Jawan.” In a heartfelt Instagram post, Kangana referred to SRK as the ‘cinema God that India needs’ and commended his perseverance, hard work, and humility.

The actress took to her Instagram Stories to share her admiration for the iconic actor. Kangana expressed her admiration for Shah Rukh Khan’s incredible career evolution, from his early days as the ultimate lover boy of the nineties to his decade-long struggle to reinvent his connection with the audience. She noted that even in his late forties to mid-fifties, SRK continued to evolve, ultimately emerging as the quintessential Indian mass superhero at the age of nearly 60.

Kangana’s tribute emphasized the importance of reinvention and reestablishment for artists enjoying long careers in the entertainment industry. She highlighted SRK’s resilience, stating that his journey serves as a masterclass for all artists who aspire to maintain their relevance over time.

In her Instagram post, Kangana Ranaut stated, “SRK is the cinema God that cinema needs, not just for his hugs or dimples but for some serious world-saving as well. Bowing down to your perseverance, hard work, and humility King Khan.”

She concluded her message by extending congratulations to the entire team of “Jawan,” the film that has garnered widespread attention and appreciation. Directed by Atlee and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, “Jawan” features an ensemble cast including Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Sunil Grover, Yogi Babu, and Ridhi Dogra.

Shah Rukh Khan’s “Jawan” has already made waves at the box office, grossing ₹51.17 crore worldwide on its opening day, as per the latest advance day booking figures. The film was released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages on September 7, 2023.

The Hindustan Times’ review of the film emphasized that “Jawan” is an SRK show from start to finish, with the actor impressing audiences with a dual role. At 57, turning 58 in November, Shah Rukh Khan’s action sequences in the film left a lasting impression. Director Atlee successfully blended all elements of commercial cinema to create a mass entertainer, ensuring that SRK’s Hindi directorial debut was a resounding success.
