The film has crossed the coveted ₹1000 crore mark within just 15 days of its release.

Released worldwide on June 27 to critical acclaim, “Kalki 2898 AD” has captivated audiences with its futuristic narrative and impressive performances. Trade analyst Ramesh Bala confirmed the achievement on social media, celebrating the film’s success with enthusiastic fire emojis.

The team behind “Kalki 2898 AD,” including production house Vyjayanthi Movies, proudly announced the milestone, having previously marked ₹900 crore on July 8. The film’s success comes despite competition from other notable releases like Shankar’s “Indian 2,” which also stars Kamal Haasan and released on July 12.

Celebrity reviews have poured in, further endorsing the film’s appeal. Superstar Mahesh Babu lauded the film as mind-blowing, praising Nag Ashwin’s visionary direction and the outstanding performances of Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, and Deepika Padukone. Director Karthik Subbaraj echoed similar sentiments, highlighting the film’s spectacular cinematic universe and exceptional music by Santhosh Narayanan.

“Kalki 2898 AD” explores themes of futuristic technology and Indian mythology across multiple languages including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi, catering to a diverse audience in both 2D and 3D formats.
