Jr NTR's Hilarious Reply to Hrithik Roshan's Birthday Wish: "Had a Congenial War on Sets"

As Jr NTR celebrated his 41st birthday on Monday, his War 2 co-star Hrithik Roshan extended warm wishes on X (formerly known as Twitter). Hrithik’s message was heartfelt and playful, expressing his excitement about working together on their upcoming film. “A very Happy Birthday to you Jr NTR. Here’s to another incredible spin around the sun. This time we spin together! I hope by the end of it the master is proud of the student in the kitchen! Haha! Stay healthy. Stay blessed,” Hrithik wrote.

Jr NTR’s response was equally spirited. He replied, “Hahaha… Thank you so much Sir. Had a congenial War on sets with you. Can’t wait to be back with you and spin around the Sun together… As they say, when the student is ready the teacher will appear and you are ready.”

The announcement of War 2‘s cast last year created a buzz among fans. Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the exciting news on X, revealing that Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR would share the screen for the first time. “It’s official. Hrithik-Jr NTR in War 2. YRF pulls off a casting coup. Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR will share screen space for the first time in War 2. Ayan Mukerji directs. YRF Spy Universe,” Taran Adarsh wrote. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, War 2 is slated for release on Independence Day 2025.

Hrithik Roshan was last seen in Fighter, where he starred alongside Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, and Karan Singh Grover. The film hit theaters in January this year, adding to Hrithik’s impressive filmography.

Jr NTR, on the other hand, will next appear in Devara, co-starring Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor. Recently, filmmaker Karan Johar announced that Dharma Productions secured the North theatrical distribution rights for the film. Jr NTR’s last appearance was in the global blockbuster RRR, which garnered international acclaim.
