Janhvi Kapoor Reveals Sridevi's Dream and Teases about Shikhar Pahariya on The Great Indian Kapil Show

In a candid conversation on the latest episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show, Janhvi Kapoor opened up about her late mother Sridevi’s aspirations for her career and playfully addressed rumors about her relationship with Shikhar Pahariya.

Janhvi Kapoor, alongside Rajkummar Rao, graced the sets of The Great Indian Kapil Show to promote their upcoming film Mr and Mrs Mahi. During the show, Janhvi shared a touching anecdote about her mother, revealing that Sridevi didn’t want her to pursue acting as a career. Instead, Sridevi hoped Janhvi would become a doctor. Janhvi reminisced, “For many years, my mom tried to keep me from acting. Whenever I played dress-up in front of the mirror, she would tell me that her dream was to see me as a doctor.”

Despite her mother’s wishes, Janhvi expressed her determination to become an actor from a young age. She even promised her mother that she would portray the role of a doctor in one of her films to fulfill Sridevi’s dream. The heartfelt revelation shed light on the bond between the mother-daughter duo.

Kapil Sharma, the host of the show, playfully teased Janhvi about her rumored boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya. He inquired whether she prefers a partner from the industry or if she is content with her current status. Blushing, Janhvi responded, “I am very happy to be at the Shikhar I am currently on.”

Sridevi, an iconic Bollywood actress, passed away on February 24, 2018, leaving a void in the industry. Janhvi’s revelation about her mother’s dreams adds a personal touch to her journey as an actress.
