The trailer for Ishan Khatter’s upcoming Netflix series, The Perfect Couple, has been released, and it’s already receiving immense love and support, especially from his rumored girlfriend, Chandni Bainz. The show, which is set to premiere on September 5, is an adaptation of Elin Hilderbrand’s novel of the same name.
Chandni Bainz, excited about the release, re-shared the trailer on her Instagram Stories, which was originally posted by Ishan. Her supportive caption read, “Can’t wait,” accompanied by a heart emoji, showing her enthusiasm for the series. The couple, who have reportedly been dating since June 2023, have been spotted together on several occasions, sparking much interest and speculation among fans.
Chandni didn’t stop at her Instagram Stories. She also left a playful comment under Ishan’s Instagram post where he teased the trailer, writing, “Just a tease September 5, mark the date.” Chandni responded with, “What a tease(r).” The post saw reactions from other celebrities as well, with Ishan’s father, Rajesh Khattar, commenting, “Wohoooo,” actor Abhimanyu Dasani writing, “Massive,” filmmaker Zoya Akhtar saying, “Woohoo! The Perfect Couple boasts a star-studded cast, including Nicole Kidman, Liev Schreiber, Eve Hewson, Dakota Fanning, and Meghann Fahy, with direction by Susanne Bier. The trailer introduces Nicole Kidman as Greer Garrison Winbury, a novelist whose son Benji (Billy Howle) is set to marry Amelia Sacks (Eve Hewson). The narrative takes a dark turn when a body is found on the beach, leading to a whodunit mystery with multiple suspects. Ishaan Khatter makes a brief appearance in the trailer as Shooter Dival, Benji’s best friend.
