HIT 3 Trailer: Nani Transforms Into Ruthless Cop Arjun Sarkar on a Bloody Mission to Save a Baby

The Third Case (HIT 3) has arrived, and it’s nothing short of gripping. Directed by Sailesh Kolanu, the action-packed thriller features Natural Star Nani in a never-seen-before avatar — a brutal, no-nonsense cop named Arjun Sarkar who will stop at nothing to rescue a kidnapped infant.

Released on Monday, the nearly 3-minute trailer sets the tone with Arjun’s chilling declaration: “There are only two ways a criminal should be allowed to live on this Earth—either in a 10-foot cell or a 6-foot grave.” What follows is a gritty and bloody chase as Arjun sets out to rescue a 9-month-old baby, using every violent means necessary — from breaking bones to sawing off heads — all while grappling with his personal demons.

The trailer also introduces Srinidhi Shetty, famed for KGF, as Nani’s love interest. Set in Visakhapatnam, the third installment of the HIT franchise continues the pattern of high-stakes crime mysteries, following HIT: The First Case (2020) starring Vishwak Sen and HIT: The Second Case (2022) with Adivi Sesh. Produced by Nani’s sister Prashanti Tipirneni under Wall Poster Cinema and Unanimous Productions, HIT 3 is slated to release on May 1.

Adding fuel to the anticipation is the buzz that Tamil actor Karthi might make a cameo in the film, possibly setting up his lead in the franchise’s future installment.

A New Chapter for Nani

Traditionally celebrated for his boy-next-door charm and clean, family-oriented roles, Nani appears to be steering his career in a bold new direction. With recent films like Dasara and Saripodhaa Sanivaaram showing his versatility, HIT 3 seems to cement this shift — showcasing a bloodier, more aggressive version of the star.

He is also collaborating with director Srikanth Odela on his upcoming project The Paradise, further signaling his intent to explore darker, action-heavy roles.

With its blend of thrilling action, raw emotion, and a powerful performance by Nani, HIT 3 promises to keep audiences on the edge of their seats.
